USTA Fall/Winter Leagues

Mixed Doubles ratings are achieved by adding the ratings of partners together.  The combined rating must not be higher than the league level.  For example, in the 7.0 league, possible teams would be a 3.5 man and a 3.5 woman, a 3.0 man and a 4.0 woman, a 3.5 man and 3.0 woman, etc..  A 3.5 man and a 4.0 woman could not play in a 7.0 league, but would have to play in a 8.0 or higher league.

The league will run from October through March with no matches scheduled from Thanksgiving through the month of December.  Matches will resume the second week of January.  Fall/Winter 2008-2009 Early Start Leagues are considered 2009 leagues. Therefore, winning teams will advance to the 2009 District Championships in late July and/or early August.

The format is one singles and two doubles teams per match.  Please note:  Should your team progress to the championships, each team match at the championships will consist of two singles matches and three doubles matches.  Please plan accordingly.  For mixed doubles teams, each team match will consist of three doubles matches during local season and championships.

Matches are played at local participating facilities.  Contact the IRC Member Services Office for more information, 317-849-2531.
